Vin Sur Vingt is a French wine bar known for bringing the charm of Paris to Washington, DC. We offer classic French cuisine, one of the area’s most extensive French wine selections, handcrafted cocktails, and genuine hospitality in a lively neighborhood setting.
We are looking for experienced Servers and Bartenders who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and want to grow their wine knowledge while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, attentive, and professional service to every guest
- Guide guests through our French food and wine menus
- Recommend wines, cocktails, and food pairings
- Prepare and serve wine, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages (Bartenders)
- Build relationships with guests and create memorable dining experiences
- Work closely with managers, bartenders, servers, runners, and kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room and bar
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Accurately enter orders and process payments using our POS system
- Follow all DC health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Server or Bartender
- Strong hospitality and guest service skills
- Basic wine knowledge required; French wine knowledge is a plus
- Bartenders should have experience preparing classic cocktails
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with restaurant POS systems
Pay: $10.30 per hour
